Good trade?
Bought a Tudor Harrods quite early 3xx serial number just never loved it. Hate the hour hand and the bracelet in my opinion just doesn’t compare to my 3 x Rolexes (2 x Oyster 1 x Jubilee). While I wait for my name to get to top of blue SkyD list 😂 felt I need some colour for variety. GMT function really useful as I travel a lot. Got offered same cranky low ball trades but finally managed to secure a deal to trade for Omega PO GoodPlanet GMT on steel, Tudor plus a couple of hundred. Be interested in opinions I reckon it’s a no brainer

That GoodPlanet GMT is a damned fine looking watch. The blue with flashes of orange is fantastic, I think.

Yep, I’d do that trade. I was lucky enough to get a harrods also, but have subsequently sold it. I think the omega is a much more refined piece and with a decent trade it’s a good deal.

Thanks guys. I posted this on Rolex page as well got 1 thumbs up and one snooty comment about the PO. Life is all about choices I guess. I have a Sub, SD4k and DJ41, to be honest I bought the Tudor to flip when they were going for like £4k, never bothered and then got caught. I want a watch I can abuse more than I ever would my Rolex and it fits the bill. Had standard 42mm bought new in 2011 and loved it. at the end of the day 25% return in a year isnt the worst thing that has ever happened to me :)

The P.O. GMT is one of the best looking watches around imo. But the weight and thickness have kept me from ever pulling the trigger. If you’re fine with thicker bulkier pieces it’s a great trade, but I think there a good number of people who sell their gmts because the weight/thickness gets tiresome over time

I hadn’t seen one before but, it looks good. My only worry with omega resales. If you can get it 50/60% below retail, you’re good.
