A new member with a question...go figure

Hey Guys,

Glad to be making my first post on this awesome forum. I've learned a lot in the last couple of weeks I've been reading through the various threads, thanks to all of you!

Question, If I buy a watch from a member on the forum, does the warranty transfer to me? Thanks!

Regards,
Bobby

Welcome and the answer depends upon the Country of origin. Here is USA, if you buy something that was pre-owned and it had a manufacturers warranty, then the new owner can present it for service under the original warranty.

If that's what you mean by "transfer" - the answer is yes.

As it applies to Rolex, two things to remember - the warranty card will still have the original owners name on it and if the card has a country code outside USA then some members have expressed trouble they had here since the warranty laws of the country of origin can apply.
