Thanks all. Would be interested to hear from other Hong Konger’s how they feel the local AD supplies are looking like at the moment? I’ve been seeing a number of Milgauss being available plus a lot of the TT models as well. Everything else seems to be as elusive as always.

Hi from another expat in HK. Also picked up my first earlier this year :)

My buddy also got an Explorer from an AD a couple months back with no previous Rolex history. Happened to see one in the CTF in Causeway Bay for sale. I think the availability is better than it used to be as there aren't really any Mainland shoppers now. Even the grey dealers in TST have lowered their prices a lot on certain models.

Personally, the only SS model I've seen on sale at an AD in the last year or so is a YM2.

I did visit most of Hong Kong Islands Rolex AD’s (there are a ton of them) to talk and understand more about my choice (of course whilst wearing a mask). Most said my desired model was not available but about a week later I got the call and it was just a great experience to pick the watch up.

Have been wearing it everyday and am still in the honeymoon phase plus hoping to add a few more references over time.

Looking forward to comparing notes with everyone here.

How are you finding life there now?

I lived there for a while about 6 years ago, and I love Hong Kong.
