Laurent Ferrier Classic Origin Opaline

New model from LF: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/la...ne-introducing

I love the symmetry and colors of the dial and the movement is beautiful (and sized to fill the case). Pretty pricey for a simple time only though, and the case size might be slightly bigger than I’d prefer for a dressier watch.

Thoughts?

I think it is gorgeous and echo your comments. Both front and back are just so clean. Might have to have a serious think about this one! But agree 40mm is a very modern size for a dress watch.

I think this watch is beautiful. I hope to snag one pre owned down the road. Incredible watches.

Beautiful case and dial, though wish they used more bridges to better showcase the movement.

Agree, 37mm or 38mm at most. Wished LF would offer a smaller case size.

For those who have purchased Laurent Ferrier - how readily are they discounted at ADs and what’s considered a fair discount? Thanks

I also think it’s a beautiful watch, many LF are in my opinion. Also, while I would prefer the smaller case (do they offer those anymore?) the 40mm LF case wears on the smaller side.

Like Lange, for LF I’m very much stuck in the “never buy new” camp.
