Alright gents time to say farewell to this fine forum

I’ll take my leave of the forum after posts get deleted.

I’ve enjoyed communicating with many on here and have enjoyed the conversations greatly.

If anyone would like to reach out in the future please do so on IG or linkedin.com/in/cliffmark or email cliff (at) atlanticsem.com

100% not an indictment of the people or founder of this fine forum. Or many of the moderators. But some I fear have made this place less than it could be with censoring posts and topics for reasons not apparent.

Best regards to everyone. And too many individuals to list like BBL and many more.

Thanks for the time.

I took a break for a while. It helps.

Regardless, best wishes.

It’s a private Rolex watch forum, unless your censored posts were relevant and about Rolex watches, who really cares?
It’s kind of like the resident who has a tantrum about their right to free speech being trampled on at the township board business meeting. No, you get 4 minutes and no expectation of a response like everyone else. If you want, you can leave, get on a soapbox outside and ramble on for 17 hours in the parking lot.

I agree with advice from Brew. Take a while off. I have had posts deleted, along with posts I have made in threads that got nuked.

Definitely take a break and revisit. We all need a break from things every now and then.

It is a letdown sometimes. Yet…missed expectations in anything can disappoint.

My 2¢
A post is just a bit of digital ink - not unlike an editor cutting some words you crafted and now feel badly about the result.

At times we are heavily invested in an expression or an opinion and that lost bit of digital ink raises our reaction higher than we wish.

Take a pause, or a full stop, if that’s what works best for your well-being.

I went back over your posts to the start of this year.
You have a grand total of exactly ONE post removed, and that is because it was of a political nature.
That is a long way from a pattern of censorship!

Sure, some posts are removed and or edited, and all of which is for a reason.
We don't simply run around and bend posts and topics to suit some imagined direction, so I'm a little perplexed at your choice?!

However, you are certainly free to just leave, take a break, go for a walk, or whatever floats your boat.
What is strange is your need to leave, and kick up a little dust on the way out.

You'll notice this thread of your has not been removed or edited.
However, I've just moved it to a more appropriate section.

Feel free to enjoy your new direction, hopefully you don't find any roadblocks along the way.
