Incoming 15450 RO

Absolutely delighted with my first AP, went in to register interest for 34mm…due to having small wrists…walked out with the 15450 37mm in silver dial which actually fits well :D

congrats, looks perfect. i think the 34 would be a bit on the smaller side for you so it worked out well. did you wait for it at all or was it actually a walk in purchase?

Wow, no waiting at all, how lucky you are!

Congrats, it sure looks very good on your wrist.

Look great! What size is your wrist? I am looking at the 37 too. Was this at Watches of Switzerland?

It was a walk in purchase at a AP boutique, apparently I was lucky that they had it in and offered it to me. Wasn’t sure if that was sales tactics or genuinely the stars had aligned. Nevertheless it didn’t bother me one bit, just delighted with it :-D

Not sure how anyone can score a walk-in RO these days but it's definitely not a common occurrence. Congrats! It looks like it fits perfectly!

Looks great, congrats OP. And Yes, you stars did align. Almost unheard of in recent times to get a walk-in Royal Oak.

Wonder if tides are starting to change? Bitcoin down from 60k to 30k in last 3 months perhaps helpful. Is anyone else starting to see Royal Oaks displayed at the boutiques?

Congrats! Looks great on you! I also got my ROC by walking into a boutique in 2019. Guess it does happen…. Cheers and wear it in good health.

I know the London Boutique had a new Blue Diver on display and ready to buy for a while, and the 43mm all titanium new offshore. But never saw any Royal Oaks!

Indeed you had great fortune. I got one 2 years ago when most collectors just put them in the “ladies watch” category. Worked for me being a lady and all :) I still had to wait about 4 months for the allocation tho. Enjoy it!
