FS: Rolex Submariner 14060m No Date 2 Liner - K Serial 2001

The last classic of a classic, this Rolex Submariner reference 14060m with a K serial prefix which dates to being produced in 2001.

This is with “m” model of the 14060 which refers to ‘modified’ as Rolex revised the long standing 14060 with some updates but not enough to merit a full new reference number. The changes were a revised movement, Calibre 3130, which provides better overall performance.

The bezel insert features the flat 4 (also referred as fat 4). This has been shown to be highly collectable among the Submariner LV model and also is much less common on the 14060m model as it only appeared on earlier examples. Also the insert has developed a beautiful ghost patina fade.

Condition: The case, with all its nicks and bumps, remains sharp and appears unpolished. Also the bracelet with a still prominent pronounced coronet on the clasp. The laser etched crystal is very clean with no marks. It comes on the original 93150 bracelet remains very tight and comes with the period correct clasp (DT code). All parts are 100% original on this piece. Overall a beautiful timeless classic piece that will continue to gracefully age.
