A newer one in progress, that would be ready middle January, should have white subdials hands, rainbow saphirs hours index, at the moment not the definitive barrel and case back, movement in tests

Hi micasol. Congratulations on your work.
I noticed that your work looks quite similar with “The Juan Pablo Montoya Project” from the Artisans De Geneve. Are you related by any chance with them ? |

My god the brushing on those lugs is bad... And look at the screws holding the rotor, completely mangled.
I'm sorry but the basics of watchmaking is not leaving a mark with a screwdriver and being able to sharpen them properly. I don't care about all the positive remarks here, this is a very sloppy job |

Wow, this absolutely beautiful!! Much respect for creating such a unique product. I love the last one the best.
So different and eye catching. It does truly remind me of a race car! |

Always good reading constructive remarks, first assembly I never changed last visible screws, because if something wrong need unscrewed and could damaged them, so after some test working change those last by newer ones, all screws are changed by newer without any single marks on them, so don’t worry those ones would be changed by end of tomorrow, right now going to wear it and played a little with. Marks on lugs, full upper case is brushed bro, but back case nope, so yes there’s some marks, base donor watch was not newer, maybe should I polish back case too, that’s never hurts me or owners but it’s a good remark Thanks looking at my job, will post pics with definitive last newer screws when fit in by end tomorrow Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk |

Thanks, really different looking, really eyes catcher one, owner have asked for something different, unique, more more , was not so easy to build, cutting-edge and polishing slightly different from previous ones, but finally great experience and really funny, and a so cool watch , this beauty is going to live in Dubail. Interesting. As long as the owners are happy.
To each their own. I personally like dials. I just want to walk into a RSC wearing one and inquire about a service. The odd looks I would get. |

Waste and taste, like you said to each their own. I am a really daytona lover’s, according to me the most awesome chrono movement in the world, I had several of them, like most of clients that owned one of those custom or even others, thinking but just my point of view, that at a moment you’re quite fade off see the same Daytona you have on others wrist, and you’re looking for something unique and personal, reason why I decided build my interpretation, but existing many others customs with dial, after all just a question of taste and skills of course. You know it’s like super cars, most of people should be happy with one Ferrari or others, and most of them happy with, but some of them not, reason why they customize them to made them more unique, finally cars or watches it’s same, it’s mechanic just size and use change but exclusivities that’s looking some of their owner nope. But like said previously I am first a Daytona lover’s, so I understand your point of view, hope you could hear and understand mine Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk |

I see that you replaced the damaged screws it's all about the details
I still think the brushing could be a lot better, as it is not perfectly straight. But I suspect the work will improve along the way. I must say that I do like the design and the colours you chose, it also looks quite good on the rubber straps. |

Yes sure, all old screws of movement changed by newer ones, really better details looking Brushing is quite a hard job like you know, on this one I did it by hand with different sandpaper size, I think better than one done using machine, but sure still needs to improve this skills, to have it perfectly straight really hard, but sure will succeed . Thanks, cutting design are really beautiful, on next one I am thinking of something bit different, using design of the one on rubber but cutting half of the upper left side of barrel on mainplate to see side of barrel and better wheels of auto wind module, this part thinking could be really nice too and with grey color movement like the last one, Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk |

I think you misunderstood my post. What you do is very interesting meaning & people are happy. Very difficult task for most of us. I like how you keep trying to improve the end product.
Maybe if I could easily tell time on non-dial watches (I’m middle aged w/ slight exotropia ), I would be more personally engaged. Heck, I even find reading the time on most Richard Mille no dials , hard. My personal thoughts aside about no dials,, I praised your work. It's interesting. I also read Bas' posts. He's one to listen to as he's cool, technical , and on the inside. Quote:
