AP ROC on rubber conversion

Hi all!

I recently ordered all the conversion parts to put my ROC on rubber from AP uk, really helpful and managed to get all the parts in under a week!

I was considering the AP bands conversion kit but the OEM stuff didn't cost much more and I like to keep things OEM.

I also ordered the 1.5 link as I could never get the bracelet perfect.

Fitting was easy and has completely transformed the watch!

Hope you enjoy the pictures.

The half link

Along side the big brother...

Looks good!

And thanks for the pics as this is something I’ve been thinking about doing

Have you gone tang buckle or deployant?

I went with the deployant clasp, I think I'm one of the few that don't find it uncomfortable lol.

All parts including the 1.5 link came to 1300gbp.

The plots and all pins were only 230gbp, AP Bands is 379USD which is actually more lol.

Looks cool with the black subdials. Can you get a white one for the summer?

Does it make the watch fit better on the wrist (or looks smaller)
I really like panda but roc is too big for my wrist.

I must say, the ROO's look great on different straps, the RO not so much.

Dan that looks stellar! I wanted to do it but my clasp on the ROO is rose gold. I might still go for it. For now I have it on the Rubber B and its super comfy. I was so hesitant to remove the bracelet in the beginning but glad I did for the summer. The rubber is identical to my strap on the ROO. I think you will wear it on rubber all summer

I actually don't mind the Rubber B, but given that the AP pricing is actually not that bad, especially if you go with the pin buckle rather than deployant, I went with OEM.

More or less how much did your conversion run? the RB strap was $300. So you got plots, strap and pin buckle? thanks for sharing info!

The info below is from APNA. I ended up with the deployant, which adds almost $600 to the pricing below, but only because of a screw up. I actually ordered the buckle but they sent the deployant instead.

(1) AD.0288.018.ST Buckle Ardillon 18mm 140 USD
(2) VI.254.066.ST Screw for fixing stud/bracelet, stainless steel 16 USD
(2) VI.253.056.ST Nut for fixing stud/bracelet , stainless steel 14 USD
(4) PL.222.066.ST Stud for bracelet attachment, stainless steel 208 USD
(4) VI.254.012.ST Screw for fixing stud/middle part, stainless stee 32 USD
(1) BR.403.753.027CA Strap, blue rubber, Standard, 27/18 mm 291 USD

Total of conversion kit with tongue buckle: $701.00

You can email APNA.ClientCare@audemarspiguet.com if you want to order.

Quick update to this awesome thread as I go through the conversion: Deployant buckle must have gone up in price, now $694 USD.

Also half link price seems to have gone way up, $271 for that part.

Available colors on straps (at least for 26331ST) are Black, Gray, Blue.

Maybe more economical to go with a third party strap like rubber B?

As I’ve mentioned in other threads, I love AP bracelets but equally love the option of wearing rubber for travel and summer. The OEM look with the plots and deployant look best to me, but I could see getting a Rubber B with Velcro to add a second color without having to spend on a second set of rose gold plots and deployant.
