Unusual Rolex Oyster movement 1939

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can advise me regarding this unusual suspension found in my Rolex Oyster watch, circa 1939.

The watchmaker had never seen it before, a patented flexible suspension on the front of the movement in a steel cased Oyster.

Any information would be really helpful.

Thank you.

Its nothing from 1939 I can tell you that much and nothing that was made by Rolex.. The font is laser cut. Looks like a modern plate of some sort.
