Incoming - Birth year 5513 Maxi/MarkII

After a lot of searching (and some very useful help from the folks here), my 1980 5513 Maxi Mark II is now here. Plenty of wear from what looks like a nice long life, but also not overly polished and still has bevels which makes me happy. Dial looks great too and I love the match between the markers and hands.

Now, anyone know a reasonable way to get a tritium or tritium-looking pip to toss in here?

Lovely watch. Regarding the lume pip, you can have reasonable or legit, but not both.

Congrats!

How do you find something like this, dealer or private sale?

Found this one through an auction house and managed to get it without needing to go through the hassle of bidding against others

This is also a rare case where when the watch arrived, it looked better than I expected from the photos.

Very nice 5513. In regards to the lume pip, reach out to Ridley Watchmakers. He put a genuine pearl on both my 5513 and 9411/0 Tudor. A nice piece like yours deserves one!
