How common are Omegas in your neck of the woods?

It seems that for typical "luxury watches" Texas is pretty much Rolex, Breitling, or TAG - and I include TAG loosely.

I had 3 Rolexes and a Breitling before I got my first Omega (Moonwatch - I now have 2). Before I went to NYC 2 weeks ago, in the 8 years I've owned my Speedy, I've literally seen only 6 or 7 others out in the wild - one worn by a Moonwalker. Over 4 days in the City, I saw 3 Moonwatches and a number of other Omegas. I see more OysterQuartz than Speedys, and there are only 25k of them in the whole world.

Maybe I don't keep an eye out, but I know one IT manager who wears an older SMP. And have a seen one sub and one speedy in the wild. Both modern.

I should keep a better lookout...

I've seen a few of the original Bond blue wave Seamasters and a couple Planet Oceans out in the wild but that's about it. I see a lot more Rolexes and Tags.

Which side of the river is home for you? A few years ago I was watching an F1 race in the bar at Queen's Landing, and the man on the next barstool was wearing a Big Bang (when they were newly released). It was fun to see it.

Buffalo is improving with regard to people wearing nice watches, including Omega, some of the better dealers here aren't carrying Omega any longer, and that's not helping.
