Rolex booklets — language of the country of sale?
Were Rolex booklets delivered with watches generally in the language of the country in which the watch with sold? Eg, Italian booklets in Italy? French in France? Or were English booklets delivered with products sold in this countries?
As always, any insights appreciate it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

So a watch purchased in, say, France could have had either English or French language booklets? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The booklets provided with new watches have historically existed in multiple languages based upon key Rolex markets. There’s always been the mainstay or default English version, however, over the years I’ve seen Chinese, Japanese, German, Italian, Spanish, French etc. I’ve also seen the older parchment and punched certificate of origin in at least English, Spanish and French.

If you buy from an AD you'll receive them in your langage, but actual grey sellers don't provide this customized service ... don't buy from a grey seller is the best thing to do |

Just checked Me and my wifes booklets from our watches bought in germany this year. They are in German. We are from Denmark, and here the booklets are in English.
I think in Europe - France, Spain and Germany (maybe italy) has there own language booklets like everything else (movies and so on) |

When I bought my OP39 from an AD in Toronto, I got home and discovered the instruction booklet was in Spanish!
I took it back and the AD said "Oops, sorry" and then opened a cabinet behind the counter and pulled out another booklet in English and handed it to me! There were stacks and stacks of booklets, I assume for various models and languages. .nic |

I purchased a watch from an AD in Johannesburg in the 90's, the papers were correctly coded South Africa. Most of the manuals were in English but the model specific book was in German.

I've bought several new Rolexes from DavidSW over the years, some sourced from ADs in the USA and others not. One was sourced from an AD in Italy, another from Venezuela and another from Hong Kong (as I recall). All came with booklets in English.

Bought my SkyD in Russia in 2019 from an official AD. They gave me the option for either English or Russian for the booklets, I chose English.
