Why doesn't the 16623 comes with a Yellow Gold crown?

Ever notice? It's kinda weird... can anyone shed some light?

Good question......a point which has been debated and wondered about several times.

Yes, with a TT watch, the crown should also be GOLD..........same as in the TT Subs, TT GMT-IIC, TT DJs, etc.

maybe its the style of the YM.

the yellow gold bezel looks delicious!

When I bought mine from the AD in switzerland, and questioned it, they said they change it for me to YG for no extra cost!

I chose to leave it as it is!

Could be the tool watch factor, but I am with the majority and thinks that it would look better with a gold crown.

Maybe with the all gold bezel, Rolex thought it would look too much

I kinda like it that way though
