Explorer squared

United...just got the black 16570 back from RSC and get to see it with the polar I picked up last week. I consider the collection complete as these do everything I need a watch to do...tried to keep only one but can’t look at the same watch every day for some reason. Beyond thrilled with (and grateful for) both.

I'm loving that Polar Explorer more and more every day. Seeing the price increase on the 5 digit version over the last 2 years, it seems lots of other people feel the same way. Congrats on 2 awesome watches, they both look great.

Awesome! I guess you could have just bought a different dial but that would be a massive hassle to change.

I really like the 5 digit Explorer IIs.

If you could only pick one, which would you choose? I go back and forth between which one I would choose. On one hand, the black just naturally speaks to me but on the other the Polar is a much more unique example of a white dialed sports model (I don't like the White Milgauss).

Maybe one day I'll own one.

The truth is I really don’t know which I’d choose if I had to pick one. I bought the black first thinking I liked it slightly more than the polar, but after wearing the polar daily on a five-day trip I have to say I love it just as much. I feel like they have different personalities if that makes sense, the black possibly more formal. Whether that’s better or not I don’t know but I feel like they’re both great anytime, anywhere options.

Great examples. Dig the ExpII. Just got my Polar back from RSC a couple weeks ago as well.

Fantastic pair! I typically prefer the 6 digit Explorer 2's, but these look amazing. I have no idea which one I prefer of the two. The white Explorer 2 was my first Rolex love, then I bought the black one.

Yes and your thread at the time made me jealous after RSC postponed my ready-by date by a couple weeks! I’m glad my bill was a lot cheaper than yours though :)
