Intriguing Question From Wife

I was about to pull the trigger Friday and buy a Pepsi GMT from Tom's AD when the wife gave me one of those looks. Rare that she gives me that look, but when she does I know to "WATCH OUT".

The above was the background for my post. Last night my wife asked me if I would rather have three GMTs (coke/pepsi/root beer) or a Daytona. With Christmas just around the corner and with her not wanting me to buy a watch last Friday; I am starting to wonder why she would ask. I know she lurks around this forum and that is the only way she would even know the term "root beer" as is relates to a GMT.

Question....how would you answer? GMTs or Daytona?

My wife has told my that I am not allowed to buy a new Rolex between now and Christmas, then she went into my files and took an inventory out of my insurance paperwork. Last night she started dropping hints.."if you were to get a new Rolex, which one would you want?" My response was just like KansaiVet and Dan. "I want what you would like for me to have." She knows my taste as well as having impeccable taste herself. Trust your wife...allow her to have the fun of picking it out and the joy of seeing your elation as you unwrap it. What could be better?

I am a very lucky guy as last year I got a black C6 Corvette for Christmas. She jokes that maybe this year she will get me a hair transplant! Had to wait till the in-laws left to pick up the car at the dealer as the wife did not want her parents to think she was showing off. Good advice from you guys and I will not spoil the fun for her. Guess a Rolex beats a Viagra PEZ dispenser any ole' day of the week.

I agree with the others. I would allow your wife to pick out your present - we love doing that kind of thing!

p.s. - you are a lucky guy!!

Joe, you can rest easy. Your wife will probably tell you exactly what you want!
