(Delayed) Triple Incoming!

a little delayed as each of these was acquired in the last few months (as opposed to just now) but with the advent of a devoted seiko forum I couldn’t resist...

Great combo!

Where did you get the tropic strap on the very right watch from?

the tropic strap is from uncle seiko. may actually be a tiny bit too thin for a relatively large watch on my smaller wrist but it's a great strap!

thanks! you won't regret it... I'm also pretty sure it will go well with basically any color strap which is an added bonus for those with watch commitment issues like myself...

thanks--it's really a great watch. holding and wearing it, it's kind of shocking how well it stands up to dive watches that cost 8x-12x more.

The GMT looks beautiful. What’s the model number for that piece? Nice collection you have.

thank you! it's really cool looking in person--the polish of the case and the cut of the indices gives it (and other GSs) a unique shine I think. the GMT is SBGM221 (SBGM021 before the logo change).

Congrats, really like your SPB053, its turning out to be a modern classic, so much interest and good reports on it.

Whats your thoughts on it? exceed or come in below expectation for the money?

Im quite interested in the new 44mm models, will be checking them out soon.

cheers

I think for the money it's absolutely phenomenal. It keeps incredibly accurate time (the most accurate of these three as a matter of fact), feels completely bulletproof on the wrist, and the blue dial and bezel look really awesome in the sun. I've taken it to the beach/snorkeling/etc and it's a very pretty vacation watch.
