15510ST new arrival in my AP quiver of two
Very excited to have received today my new 15510ST silver dial. Still getting used to the size and proportions, given my previous Royal Oak was a 36mm 14790ST also with a silver dial, which I acquired now over 20 years ago ! At a 20% discount off list price, if you can believe that. My, how times have changed...
Ideally, I would love for this watch to be available in a 40mm or 39mm size. The Jumbo proportions are really ideal, but I wish it came in steel in more than just the blue dial. What are your thoughts on Royal Oak contemporary size options? Anyway, I'm really only able to afford a couple of APs in my collection at a time (and feel lucky about that!l My rotation now consists of the 15510ST new arrival, and a ROO rose gold Rubberclad 25940OK. The 15510 will be worn more in the winter time and with less casual attire, whereas the RG Rubberclad, which I love, is my sporty very casual watch. Here is a pic of my new arrival, the ROO, and the old 14790. It looks so old school compared to the modern Royal Oaks design language. Congratulations! Must be over the moon to receive your 15510ST.
How long did you wait for this piece?

Nice setup! Love the silver dial and the RG ROO, great combo! I agree and wish they made more options in 39

So you sold off the 14790?
I’m impressed by the contrast (and relationship) between the older and newer ROs. Also, from the pics it looks like the dial of the 14790 was a true white color, as opposed to the silvery white of the new one. Regardless, you have a perfect duo whatever way you combine them. Congratulations |
