80s Cartoons

There was nothing like those Saturday morning 80s cartoons. Those who are around my age know what I’m talking about! Which one was your favorite?

For me, it was a toss up between Thundercats and G.I. Joe.

Ah! Saturday morning cartoons! Loony Tunes, The Flintstones, The Jetsons and Tom & Jerry. Let’s not forget Woody Woodpecker, Popeye and the talking Magpies!

He man, Gi joe and D&D. I recently introduced my son to He man cartoons on Netflix. He loved them. I had to watch them with him. It was mandatory.

X2!
Also, in my town Saturday morning started with the 3 Stooges. I doubt a show like that would see the light of day today.

Loved He-Man and Thundercats as well. I had Castle Grayskull, a lot of the action figures, including Battle Cat.

But I also enjoyed watching G-Force and even Ducktales.

Why Thundercats of course! Also any Warner Bros cartoons also. Then after lunch, Florida Championship Wrestling. No better way to spend Saturday. At least until my dad decided that I needed to work in the yard.

Same here, except it was the 1970s for me. Loved Bugs Bunny and Looney Tunes.

Now, if you want to talk about 80s comics I'm all in.

Bloom County was my favorite strip of all time.

Late '60s - early '70s were my cartoon-watching years, and this was my favourite...

I loved Battle of the Planets (G Force) and Thundercats too. Also enjoyed Looney Tunes and Duck Tales.
Of the newer generation, my daughter and I loved to watch Phineas and Ferb and Camp Lazlo.

I actually found out yesterday (didn't see this topic) that they re-made Ducktales. I'm not a fan of the new look, then again I'm not a kid anymore and perhaps this is what it needs to be to become popular.

Gforce but I like the original which is Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. As you can see Ken the Eagle was favorite.
