Vintage Omega Speedmaster
Well I just expanded my collection by one watch! Wearing it as I type this, I will say it sets nicely on my wrist and is a pleasure to look at :o)
The seller said it has just been serviced but, I'm going to watch it a few days and see how it does. I am going to see if the crystal can be replaced due to this one don't want to buff out with polywatch... All chrono functions work great. |

Great find Earl the crystal don't look that bad, half a hour with polywatch or autosolve metal cleaner will have it like new. When using polywatch quite firm pressure is needed and
try and go across the scratches and not with them.

Adrian, you sure have good taste in watches, snicker snicker. Paid about $720.00 for it, I didn't get taken to badly did I? LoL From what I've read on this watch Omega made the 1045 movement in the early 70's but, didn't really make a case for it so, even though the watch is a Speedmaster the back of the case say's Seamaster! They (Omega) modified cases for this movement.

watch suppliers.Because it was one of the only chronographs that could resist large shocks, with the chrono functions working, without stopping the secondhand. And could withstand more than 7G without loss of accuracy,a fine easy to work on reliable movement. And sell from £450 to £700 for a mint example.
