Spyder ski wear for the WIS

Spyder has introduced a new feature on some of their ski jackets to allow telling of the time (check heart rate, altitude, etc.) but sewing a clear plastic window on the wrist.

I can't get a pic because of the way Spyder built their site, but the link is here:

http://www.spyder.com/tech.feat.asp

Second row of tech features on the bottom line of features.

Personally I think it's allowing a weakness in the jacket because there is no insulation there, and over time the vinyl/plastic will harded and crack.

But if you're a sponsored skier, or change suits frequently (or ski in climes that aren't 'canada cold' it's pretty cool.

I thought there was a shirt manufacturer who had done something similar - I recall seeing a picture on one of the watch sites......I think that would create some odd looks!

If there's a hot Hawaiian chick inside... I concur!
