I'm watching this show and one of the chief creative guys is wearing a gold daytona on a strap in the late 1960s. Is this possible and was this watch available that long ago?

I'm not sure about the Daytona, but in general the research that goes into this show's time period props is meticulous.

I know for a fact they have detail into which watches are worn by the actors.

So if they goofed on the Daytona it would be both surprising and noteworthy.

I think it was a gold Omega chronograph but it was hard to be sure.

It was a gold chrono and a black strap. Looked like a Daytona but sounds like it may have been an omega.
