I've always loved the design of this model but couldn't live with the blue arabics. But if they lumed these in white like the new Explorer, I bet they'd have a big seller on hand. ROLEX, RU listening?

Beauty, by the way. One of the few dj2s that doesn't suffer from the hand2marker proportion problem!

Smooth steel bezel replace with fluted-datejust II

Hey guys, new to the forum. I just bought a Preowned datejust ii 41mm. It currently has the smooth steel bezel. For those who have made the change to the fluted bezel, has anyone tried the steel fluted bezel? Or should I just go for the white gold?

Has anyone purchased an aftermarket fluted bezel on eBay or forum that wasn’t Gen? And how does it look? The Gen white fluted bezel seems so hard to source and costs a pretty penny

Hey dukester, I totally agree I had the same issue with the 36MM. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to fit my wrist with a metal bracelet with a Datejust but then I discovered the 41MM. Can't believe I thought I would have to get a different watch! Finally I read from this article about all the different sizing options for the Rolex Datejust and got the full picture.
https://www.bobswatches.com/rolex/da...t-size-options
"The 41mm Datejust is the largest size available and the newest size edition to the collection. Rolex decided to launch the Datejust 41 to replace the Datejust II, which was the brand's first Datejust watch with a case larger than the standard 36mm. The Datejust II (which was also 41mm) satisfied the hunger for larger watches when it was launched in 2009, but it had slightly different proportions, and Rolex eventually decided to replace it with the Datejust 41 in 2016. Today, the 41mm Datejust is one of the most beloved sizes for men due to its classic looks but modern sizing and feel."
