I purchased this white gold black racing dial Daytona (without papers) a few years back during the beginning years of my Rolex and specifically my Daytona education. I just liked the look but truly had no idea then of all the differences between the many variations. Is there anyone that can tell me what years this specific model was produced or at least what year it was discontinued? I’d sincerely appreciate it as I’ve been trying to find the answer on the internet but have so far struck out. Thank you in advance.

I have several, but not that one. And that green dial and YG is simply bad ass. Well done! Wear it in good health and hold it for many many years until some deserving child or grandchild does something significant enough to have you pass it down. Don’t ever sell it. It’s THE one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Daytonas: I have a WG black racial dial, I have a 116520 all SS white dial Daytona, I have a 116500LN black Dial black ceramic.... yet I find myself CRAVING the 116500LN white dial ceramic. I’m sick. I have an addiction and I fear I can’t be stopped! Worse, I actually hear the voice in me head telling me that the white dial ceramic will be the last one and I’ll finally be satiated and satisfied, yet I know it’s lying to me!
For anyone out there with a white dial ceramic.... is it truly the bees knees? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
