Panerai AB v DB Buckle???

Hi friends

I am about to buy a strap for the luminor base logo.

The owner of the strap says it will fit only a certain type of buckle, i.e. AB or DB

Can someone please tell me and show me what is an AB buckle and a DB Buckle, what the differences are etc.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you

The strap for the deployant is different in length than the strap for a tang.
I have to say I prefer deployant personally, just seems classier.
Both work well.

I don't understand what you mean about the length of the strap? The deployants are thinner but they are the same standard length as for the tang.

The deployants are nice but the historics are all about the bottles openers.
