I know a guy who was kicked out of middle school (and the district). He was told he would amount to nothing. He really wanted to fly jets, so he paid for his Catholic high school, his college, and then enlisted in the Navy, where he busted his ass and got his real education. College was a means to an end but he didn't get much out of it. He now understands why his parents were so hard on him as he now has a family of his own.

I thank my parents and I fly jets for a living...

BTW I wear an GMT Master 16750.
