Clapping with a Rolex on?

I was at a show last night and wore my Yachtmaster and at the end the audience including myself clapped.
Should I have my watch serviced now or at least inspected for shock damage?

Just kidding, but seriously, what's the dumbest "Can I wear my Rolex if...." Question you've ever heard?

I know there are some really odd ones out there!

When I first got my sub I was told by someone I shouldn't get it wet or wear it to the beach / pool... Not a question, but pretty dumb

No, you can't get them wet or feed them after midnight. If you do they turn into Rado.

Clapping with a Rolex is fine. A Rolex with the clap is another story.

How do I clean my Rolex box it has dust in the lid,I sometimes wonder with the many questions we get on forum that some remember how to breath. And one I remember very well, will wearing my watch at the night club that plays loud music damage my Rolex. And over the many years on this and other forums I could write a book on some of the really stupid questions asked about Rolex watches and the plastic bits and bobs.

This is not really a "can I wear my Rolex" example but I think two of the funniest questions I've seen on TRF are: Someone asked if something might be wrong because the date was changing at noon. Another wanted to know what the little black Arabic looking symbol on the side of the case was for.

I've been standing in an Omega store and a customer asked if he could swim with a Planet Ocean on. The rep said "I don't know, with the g forces of your arm hitting the water, I wouldn't recommend it."

The ads for the Planet Ocean have Michael Phelps wearing one in a pool.

The date changing at noon is my absolute favorite!!! I've heard that one a couple times as well and it makes me want to administer an IQ test just for fun...

I looked. The date changing at noon is definitely NOT covered under the 2 year Rolex warranty. Strange.

How about when people ask why the Crown when screwed back in does not face up...like in Rolex Ads and is there something wrong with my watch!!!

Hey Padi, maybe you should write a book...probably would become a best seller and make the New York Times list of Best Sellers. You could make a small fortune!!!

Take it easy.....Leo

can you ride a motor bike with a rolex?

my watchmaker suggested once that one of my SD's screws came loose probably because the last owner was a heavy biker and the vibration at the handle caused it.
