Two Daytonas is one thing, but two gold models with both on leather? Do you have any other pieces to mix things up?

Insane? Perhaps...but I'd say that only because I'd know the feeling!

In all seriousness, you have a very nice duo here! Congratulations and enjoy both those beauties!

Congratulations on a very stunning Daytona! I have always like the model. I want to get in line with those who want to help take you out of another Daytona! Enjoy! This might be a keeper

Two beauties. The RG in particular is spectacular and I have had a close look at that model. I wore one for a short time and liked the weight on leather. I was not sure if I could wear it all day. How do you find it?

Back in Nov 2010, I had acquired my first brand new black dial SS Daytona from a local AD. I loved it very much, I almost slept with it every night. It was like a dream come true.

And then the unthinkable happened. I traded it (at a loss) for something else ten months after. I regretted terribly ever since.

In Feb 2012, I bought a brand new white dial SS Daytona from a different AD to fill the void. I told myself I will never part ways with it for whatever the reason in the world.
Six months later, I sold it, at a loss of course.

I told myself then that I will never buy another Daytona, black or white. Don't get me wrong, I still love it lots and I am still a chronograph guy. It is just unfortunate that it could not hold my attention for a prolong period. Perhaps it may be the busy dial, or the small dial, or because there is no date. It is something I can never comprehend.

A month ago, when I visited by AD. He brought out something from the the safe and presented to me a 116518. It instantly reignited my passion all over again. It was like my long lost lover (which is good).
That black dial red chrono hand on a gold case in black leather instantly melted my weaken heart.
I bought it together with the 116515LN without a blink.

My peers call me crazy and insane. Perhaps they are correct. Perhaps I am really one crazy Daytona fella. Or am I the only one?

Here are a few photos of my new pride and joy. Hope you guys like it.
That wrist shot is stunning!

Great pics of the choc Daytona, they look amazing in the ADs but hardly ever in pics but you've nailed it! This and the new bluesy TT are gonna be top of my list in the future, not sure which one I'll choose.

Great daytonas! No one can ever be a watch nut as long as you love the watch and makes you grin whenever you look at it

Both very nice, except I like the one with the ceramic bezel better. Is it priced significantly more than the SS or TT?

Yes I do, Bill, I do have my Sub & DSSD to mix them up during my weekly rotation.

Thank you sir. I do wear them all day during work and they are very comfortable on the wrist.

Love them all - prefer the dial without the numbers on though by a long way...looks a bit busy with them...nice though.
