SEL fitment
I recently meet up my friend who have same 16610 as me, but his is m series, mine is y series, both no lug holes.
I notice that the SEL endlink fitment seems way better on his. When I look at mine from side view, the SEL angle is not really prefect match with the case, created a cap on one side. as I review others 16610 and 16660, 3/10 I would say have that quality problem. I went to rolex service center, they reply its within rolex tolerance ... How many members have this problem here? And did rolex fit it for you guys?? |

As Peter said this may just be wear and tear on the springbars, now there's an easy fix. Let us know.

I did try new spring bar. Still didn't solve it.
maybe I am too picky. on the newer sub or rolex, the sel is almost tight fit and perfect match angle with the lugs. but as a lot of 16610 . The sel endlink is too thin compare to the lugs, and the endlink is like flat out compare to the curve of the lugs |

I noticed that too but never really bothered me. If it makes you feel better I am actually on the hunt for a non-SEL Sub as I wore a friends for a few few weeks and it fits me better than my SEL Sub.

Do you have the correct size spring bars? 2.0mm for the oyster and 1.8mm for the jubilee.

I know someone that bought a brand new 16610 LV from an AD a couple years back and one of his end links didn't align perfectly. It turned out that the spring bar holes on that side of the watch were misdrilled at the factory. AD sent watch back to Rolex and they replaced the case under warranty, alignment is now fine on his watch.
