Where's Nadal's RM? At $690,000 it would be tied for 6th.
#15 is $75,000. There's more than 15 watches that list for more than that. Heck, there isn't even a PP on the list. Doesn't seem very well researched.

just take a pretty average watch and plaster it with diamonds ,,, they could have done a bit more research and come up with an interesting list.

I think most of those watches are ugly and wouldn't pay a tiny fraction of their stated value.
Am I onto something here, or am I simply a heathen who's incapable of appreciating true horological magnificence?

No, that is wrong, totally wrong.
The most expensive watch is made by chopard 201 carat. this is the picture  the 2nd most expensive watch is made by Hublot. My dream watch. its 5 Million dollars watch. 5 Million babe lol
