Bring back the Sub jubilee!!!!!!!!!
Even though I am new to Rolex, i am stunned that they haven't brought the jubilee bracelet to the SubC's and the DateJust II. Is there any chance that Rolex will implement this, or is there any rumors floating through the grapevine?

I'll probably be the first of many to comment that the Sub never came on a jubilee. With ya on the DJII however.

Like I said, I am a newbie. I guess the Subs i have seen on the Jubilee were swapped out then. Great idea though.

It should be an option I agree, but Rolex has strict principles on models and their composition of dials/bracelets/bezels...
I guess they want to control people buying/selling and retrofitting. Regards

BBQ boy, you may be thinking of the gmt, which formerly was offered on a jubilee. If that is what you were thinking, then I am wholeheartedly on board.

GMTs and Jubilees are natural. Subs, I dunno.

Many, many years ago the Jubilee was indeed an option on a Submariner.

Dont believe it was a official option but many years ago you could choose a bracelet and AD would change it.

I'm very partial to Subs/GMT's with Oysters and DJ's w/ jubilees for the dressier moments. However, I have seen them reversed and it looks good too. As far as what was made/released and when, sorry, I can't help you there.

The problem with the current style jubilee (on a Submariner) is the clasp. I don't think that the hidden NON-fliplock style clasp would be a good fit for a Diver's watch (both aesthetically and with regard to security).
On the GMT and DJII, I completely agree with you.

I think GMT was only sport model to be officially offered with jubilee.

Sub = oyster. That is the law.
GMT, yes. DJ2, can't understand why not, but I know why Rolex does it. |

IMHO the jubilee this doesn't belong on a Sub.
