I'm blaming Rockrolex...

I know I'm just rationalizing... thought I had left these behind... It's on its way...

41mm Cal 12 8808... Seems like old times...
Good price

WOW! Ed will go ballistic when he sees that....but you'd have to be left-handed to wear that baby!! ...unless it's a mirror-image!!

Thats a nice vintage watch from around 1969 early 70s, nice Venus 178 movement. You cannot beat vintage watches lots more character.

Very Nice G! I'm going to walk down to the our local watchmaker and see if they still have that circa 1955 Navitimer. Not to buy, but to drool over. Last time I was there they wanted CDN$1,800 for it.

Thanks to all.

Here is an excellent site which is run by a Navitimer enthusiast Jean Michel.
Site link is used courtesy of JM.
Actually mine has a Cal 12 movement and was one of the first chrono automatics in the world which were developed with Breitling, Bruen and others. It has a higher beat rate than the 11. Go to Chrono-matics.

Here it is...

Taken on board a friend's Dehaviland Beaver floatplane.
I took it to the German Watchmaker, Vancouver and he found the movement in good shape, running well but missing the chrono lever part #8356. I think we can get it from Toronto but all in all a great buy for a vintage Cal 12 8808 and for $750.00!!
Watch came with a brand new Breitling padded strap and a SS Breitling buckle, so take $150.00 off the price and a better deal!!
I like ebay!!!
