Fit of 44mm Offshore's - Would it work?

Hey all,

Highly considering a 44mm offshore, in either SS, ceramic or Ti. I really want something casual on a rubber strap, and ill likely be moving my 5 dig sub soon to fund it. I love the unique look of the pushers/dial on the 44s. I may use it to time laps in the pool.

Here are some pics of the two biggest watches I own, the 41mm 15400st, and 42mm SS skyd. Based on how these sit on my wrist, do you think the 44mm would overpower my arm? I'm 6'1 with an athletic build.

I would just go try the piece on, but in LA all the dealers are sold out of 44s. A kind local forum member offered to let me try his on, which if I become more serious about this purchase I certainly will.

Advice appreciated :) Thanks!

I think you'll be OK, it will fill your wrist, as a ROO should, but don't think there will be any overhang.

Coincidently I had/have all the watches you mentioned. 44mm will fit you well. Even on my skinny 6.5” wrist, average built and 5.6’ height.

Clockwise, from top left; SkyD 42mm, 15400ST 41mm, 26400SO 44mm, 25721TI 42mm

Thanks. As much I dislike AP (reliability & QC), it has some special appeal that keep pulling me back to the brand.

im so excited. sold my gmt (my skyd has a GMT function), 14060m (love it, but my green sub is preferred), and the 15400. the one ill miss the most is the 15400 and i can see myself adding it back this year when funds allow.

it got to the point with 5 pieces it was almost "frustrating" picking one to wear. im looking forward to the simplicity of having 3 totally different watches for totally different situations. :)

Thank you :) cant say your profile pic on here didnt help sway me...the all black dial was the way to go for me. the white subdials on the old RG made it look almost a little dated. the all black is so sleek and modern, balancing out the bling of the rose gold for me as a young guy.

If you can wear the 44 properly then it’s the best sports watch out there.

looking forward to owning it. it fit great at the boutique, it was very special. so much presence, on a bracelet this size wouldve been too much, but the balance the wide strap provided made it totally comfortable. such a looker too. tried on the Ti and it was cool, then he brought out the rose and i immediately started making moves to acquire it. havent felt this excited about a piece in a while.

From the photo of the 15400, the 44 should be fine. I prefer the black w/ rose gold accents over the rose gold piece, but the black maybe harder to find

I have about a 6.5 inch wrist. I had the offshore ceramic and while it was a fantastic watch I just couldn't get used to the size. Ended up trading it.
