I am looking 42mm AP's again lately too...
44's just don't fit me as much as I love them.

AP Diver, Trulli and Barrichello II are my 3 favorite 42mm AP ROO.

Current Lineup of AP ROO 42's is not that exciting in my opinion,
though some of the SS are nice looking just too much weight.
For comfort, I would rather have Ti, CE, or FG.

All the great looking ROO pieces are 44's.
I love the new Ti Novelty Ken has been taking amazing pics of..
If only they had a 42 version...

Regarding what 42's you prefer, there is a lot people in the same boat - 42mm with ceramic bezel and without Arabic numerals or should I say 44 ROOs in 42 size...

Most of 100+ limited and regular production 42 ROOs have Arabics but don't forget the one that started it all have stick markers and I hope a 42mm redesign will feature dials without numbers, and include some versions with ceramic or ceremet bezel... other thing I hope they improve are the pushers... maybe not as aggressive as ones on Barichello II, but in that direction...

Next year is 25th anniversary of Offshore, let's hope for some great 42's at January SIHH...

Check the Original Blue Batons (& variations - white dial) and Sebastien Buemi

Yes Buemi is nice, I had that in my original poll on 42's. I kinda like the three I mentioned more.
Original Barichello is kinda strange, III is also a bit off in my opinion, but the Barichello II nailed it!

I am 100% with you!! Something with Barichello II DNA with stick markers, aggressive pushers, design and add some of the more recent modern touches in a 42!!

As for current white ceramic diver, I would love it if it was the INVERSE of colors...
Replace white with black and black with white to give a more all black ceramic diver again.
I cannot for the life of me understand why they don't have SOME kind of black diver like the classic 15707CE.

Have to say my super early 25770 twins on Kevlar are my favourites of the non LE models.

The original safari might take the cake for me...If they updated it with the 3120 base, clear case back and ceramic pushers I would be ALL over it

I'm very glad this thread re-appeared. There are some great pieces being thrown only the mix.

While I don't think it would qualify as "the coolest", I am surprised that the titanium 26170 (https://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/wa....OO.1000TI.01/) doesn't get more attention
