I am as well, but specifically for the 26331 ROC (Blue dial). Is it true if you ship from out-of-state you can avoid sales tax? Specifically CT or NJ to NY as an example?

For the most part this is true. If the store you're buying from doesn't have a physical presence in the state you're shipping to then they don't charge sales tax.

Ex: if you buy in NY and ship to NJ and the store has locations in NY and NJ then you're still going to be hit with sales tax from the state you're shipping to. If you buy in NY and ship to NJ and the store doesn't have a physical presence in NJ then you don't pay any sales tax.

Thanks! Basically what I expected. Now, getting a good price on the 26331 ROC with the blue dial is another story entirely...
