His product is perfect! I am waiting for my third caseback from him, that will arive before my third Rolex. So, after having first two casebacks, i am waiting for the third one, even before i have the watch! Excelent quality!

Larry, great review!

I recently got a clear caseback, it looks great and showcases the older 1560 movement.

Perhaps I am alone on this one, but Rolex movements aren't exactly the prettiest thing to look at. I think I will stick with the steel back.

Yes, I have a link on my website that shows it installed on a 16710.

It will fit on a 116710 GMT-C but it will be slightly recessed.

Its made of sapphire so no problem I see there and as you wear the watch its almost impossible to scratch the back. Replace the gasket every 3yrs and grease it should make it water proof.

Hey Guys;

My clear case back came today; took less than 10 minutes to do the swap onto my 16610.

The O-ring is on the case, not the case back; don't have to move it. The fit of the clear back is perfect.

It looks awesome and I can't feel any difference on my wrist.

Hats off to the German Watchmaker !!

I came across this term yesterday: "sapphire sandwich"....

Apparently it refers to a watch which has a sapphire crystal and case back at the same time.

Hey, our Rolexes now qualify for this !!

Does anyone know if their "116234 clear caseback model" fits the rolex 116000?

Thank you

I love the look and idea of these casebacks! I just don't think I'd put one on my own Rolex as I'm too much of a pureist.

I understand where your coming from but I figure as long as I keep the original there is no harm as I can switch it back if I need to.
