Which is the coolest 42

Just wanted to know which NON LE 42 you found was the coolest, old and new models included? For me it's clearly the ceramic diver, and in the LE's either the QE cup diver in tantalum and RG, or the Jarno Trulli. So would like to know which non LE and if you wish which LE are your faves, just in 42, not 44.

The beast of course 25721ST.

Aside from that I like the 15703 for non LE and Trulli + Ginza for LE.

It would be a nostalgic nod to the RGRC for me, OG cool. Also the Don Ramon and Doha.

Interesting, really not a fan of the chrono divers myself, but just my taste, but Trulli rocks

Another Trulli in LE, funny that your favorite in non LE is the steel diver, for me CE>FC>SS in divers

Probably the RBII for a LE but I also like the Ti perpetual calendar. Would that be regular production?

I'm going with the diver with white face. It's completely unique amongst other dive watches, doesn't have any playful shenanigans but it's not as boring as a standard black dial watch can be, and I think it's a value relatively speaking depending on how you buy it.

I was just going to say the plain black 15710ST. Looks great, functions well, and a lot more subtle than a Sub as a diver. Packs a whole lot of punch. And gets a huge wow factor when a fellow watch geek comes along.

I've always had a soft spot for those plus they are the only LE's i have ever actually seen in person. Made for Marcus Watches in London who also use to be about the best AP AD around.

I think it was regular production, googled and didn't find anything saying it's a LE

WOW wonder how much that thing weighs when you know a 5711P weighs around 150gr, this one must be at least 450gr

I must say I prefer the white SS diver to the black one, dial pops much more

Well no one ever noticed, or maybe noticed but said anything about my ce diver, maybe they think it's a Hublow or a fake

They are really awesome, any idea on the prices?

Funny I don't really like glossy dials, but hey if we all liked the same things life would really be boring as hell, we'd have the same clothes, cars, bikes, and of course watches

Ok I tried to find, they didn't have but the RG version is on chrono24, I find it awful as hell, but love the 2 you posted

http://www.chrono24.com/audemarspigu...-id5572844.htm

Ok I did find them on the Marcus website, seems the black and red is out, but they have the white and black for 26.5k£, but a little disappointed to see that it's DLC, I thought it was ceramic to be honest, DLC is cool but can still scratch

agreed with the DLC. But considering this was circa 2011/2012-ish this may be before they started doing cases in ceramic as commonly as they do now, not sure?

Price isn't bad considering the regular SS 42's are £21,900. If they actually have the white and black I'm sure a very big discount can be had as they have been sitting a long time.

The RG case looks nice too (although NOT in the chrono 24 pic, that looks bad) although I've never actually seen that one in person.

The thing with the Black/Red is the strap looks awesome. I have never seen that strap before and all of the 2nd hand listings i have ever seen never has that strap included. Its always on some other random AP strap. Even that RG one in your chrono24 link doesn't have the strap on.

To me, easily the 2014 Elephant and the first model from 1993 are the nicest ones.
