Around 20-25% off for a black or silver dial 15400. The grey I have no idea and blue is close to 0.

What's the current MSRP in the US?

Canadian AD seems to be governed by the US Dollar but they tend to hold firm on the exchange rate.

Kingofthehill can you send me the PM details as well? I just moved from the US to the Netherlands and tried to buy a 15400 today... Not available from the dealer and they are not sure when they will get another.

I will be back to the states every quarter and would love to pick one up at the right price.

thanks!!

it's strange that the MSRP for the 15400ST is 18,200 EUR in Spain. I thought it would be less than US MSRP.

Although, that's about $16,8xx and change after 1.12 EUR/USD FX and 17.3% VAT return.

RRP is within 1K at retail in USD/EUR terms if you buy in Europe and even closer in USD/GBP if you buy in the UK as i think its actually slightly cheaper. Haven't run the numbers in a while though.
If your buying in the US through normal channels don't forget to include an average of 8% sales tax to the RRP. EU VAT is already included. So on the surface, US pricing will always appear lower than it actually is.

So obviously with a VAT refund you are coming out ahead but without it you are still pretty close.

I was shopping around for a rose gold 15400 on bracelet with blue dial in Vancouver. The prices here are astronomical compared to the states. Dealer offered 12% on the rose gold...

Perhaps it varies by piece. I saw they had the 15202 in RG.

They told me they were selling the 15400 ST for $26,000 CAD taxes included ($17,850 USD equivalent before 12% tax) and $30,000 CAD taxes included ($20,600 USD equivalent before 12% tax) on the 15710 ST.

Lines up pretty much the same as the US MSRP if I'm not mistaken. Zero inventory as well and very minimal discount if any (low allocation here).

... what was the price on the RG 15400 they told you?

Also have to remember the VAT refund is often not the full amount as they have a processing charge if its 20% you usually get 14-17% back

And remember removing say 20% tax = 16.66 off the price with Tax a lot of people seem to forget that

i got that, the larger issue is US sales tax is never included in the RRP and everyone forgets to add that when comparing prices because it varies from state to state. So comparing $17,800 vs £15,000 vs 18,200 euros is wrong to begin with. You should be comparing $19,260 (approx.) vs £15,000 vs 18,200 euro

For example including US sales tax the 15400 is the exact same price as Uk price including all tax at retail pricing, using dollars. its like a $40 difference. Most forget to add 8%-ish to US RRP when they compare. So strictly comparing apples to apples the prices are the same when using dollars in both countries.

I was responding to the comment that "europe pricing is higher than US pricing". A bit higher in euros but pretty close when including US taxes. In Euros it is about 1,500 higher with taxes instead of the 3k higher that it appears to be when using $17,800(not including tax) US RRP as your basis of comparison.

How much tax you get refunded is debatable. If its 16% then its 16% cheaper in the UK vs US, if its 18% then its 18% cheaper. Same goes for Euros, but because its slightly more expensive than US prices the deal isn't quite as good but you still come out ahead.
