Gradually phasing out white diver. True?

Went to the AP boutique today and was told that the white/silver dial diver reference 15710st.oo.a002ca.02 was being phased out.

They still had it in stock but no new ones were coming in as opposed to other dial variations.

It will be replaced as the white dialed 15710st.oo.a010ca.01 will take over.

I guess time will tell but have you also heard of this ?

Yes, a grey dealer I know told me the white dial 15710 would be phased out. He told me about 2 months ago.

It's good I'm not the only one whose heard this! After posting the message I thought I'd be hearing a lot of price increase responses

Anyways, quite a short stint for the white silver dial as it was only introduced in 2015. Now it will be replaced by the white dial with blue rubber clad screw locked crowns. And they might not keep that as it's part of the limited edition funky colors or 2017?!
