Watch Boxes
hey guys.
What's everyone's favorite, or current watch box? I'm debating on a getting a 6-watch setup, but going between 2x3 or 1x6 layouts. What's yours? |

Being a joiner I made my own recently to upgrade from 6 to 8 capacity. Need to get some photos of the inside!

Snypa, that is awesome!
Please do take photos of the inside. I need to do something similar for myself, but I don’t think it will turn out as good as that! |

I don’t know about favorite but I use a Wolf box I bought from amazon. It’s nice enough but the cord that holds the lid open flops when it’s closed. It obscures my watches so I don’t have that clean case look. Only regret was not getting bigger since I have now exceeded the current size and had to get an extension.

Have MANY timepiece boxes here from Louis Vuitton 8-watch holder https://tinyurl.com/lv8watch to Wolf singles. Here's what i settled on for scratch-protection, good padding and watch holder design, plus EXCELLENT efficient storage (little wasted space). And yes, even the 'bulky' 42mm Panerai fits fine.
$29, no need to spend more imho unless you want fancy, and that's what the LV is for. https://amzn.to/3eda5VD Note, the closing clasp design changed to a snap, so it really is not magnetized , or at least so little that it does not matter imho.

Are the magnets in the magnetized watch cases (used to hold the lid shut) strong enough to interfere with the watch's movement?

Not on the one I posted above. Plus I put my OMEGA METAS-certified Speedmaster or a Rolex closest to the clasp so it really 'doesn't matter' per se. Again, it is very very weak so no need to OCD about it imho.

Thanks for the kind words guys, been meaning to make a new one for 2 years but always so busy, so making the most of no work coming in at the moment!
Not quite finished yet as I need to line the dividers with felt, and then fit properly and sand but my supplier is closed so it will have to wait. for now I've simply lined the bottom with a piece of suede to protect those clasps. Cheers Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk

I'd implore, yes implore you to look on etsy. There are folks on there that will make you a custom box for very little money. Had one made for the wife by a lady in Nashville..... pretty good stuff.

Do you have a price range in mind of what you would want to pay for one?

I like this one - its not a "dresser top" one but works great for putting in a safe - and are stackable. Wolf Stackable
