Now that all gatherings have been halted and hopefully only postponed...

Q: ...What Concert | Event | Gathering Are you missing because of Coronavirus (COVID19)?

For us the big one was the Rolling Stones Concert. The stadium was Sold Out! No word on new date as of yet.

Dear Country Club Members,

The San Diego Sheriff Office has informed us that the San Diego County has ordered all Golf Courses in the County to be closed due to COVID-19. In order to be compliant there will be no further access to the Country Club facilities effective immediately and until further notice.

We will continue to maintain all our amenities to the quality of excellence you expect from the Country Club. I know this is not pleasant information and I thank you all for your cooperation during these uncertain times by staying safe and healthy as we move forward.

Flipside: I'm seeing some wonderful music being made from musicians' living rooms almost every day. This morning I watch Josh Ritter on his couch with a guitar.

Here's a link:

He opens with a dedication to John Prine, who is on a ventilator struggling to live.

tons. I have suite seat tickets to every event at the Prudential center in Newark.

I actually had to make a decision as to whether or not I was going to keep them for the upcoming year.

Want to guess on what I decided?

Daughter's 8th grade graduation. Son's high school graduation. Son's senior baseball season. Parents' 60th anniversary trip and party. My wife's 50th birthday party. My annual golf trip with the boys. I'm sure there are more.

And as much as all of that bums me out, I'm really enjoying my family time at home.

My wife and I were supposed to leave April 6 for a week in Tokyo. Had great flight connections, business and first class seats round trip, great hotel room in Tokyo, all booked six months ago. Luckily, the flights and the hotel room could be canceled without any penalty. Even with all that, if we escape this without getting sick, I will consider us to be extremely lucky. Stay well, everyone and take precautions.

I was wondering how they will compensate you (I have a SD card for Torrey) for paying but not being able to play.

Same! My wife and I were to depart on 04/05 LAX-HND in JAL's Sky Suites version II. 4 nights in Tokyo, 3 in Kyoto, and 1 night Osaka, then KIX-LAX in Sky Suites version III. Fortunately, we didn't lose one cent... redeposited frequent flier miles and all hotels were refundable.

I’m missing 4 invited lectures/workshops. One at Penn, one at Hopkins, and one National Society Meeting. I’m hoping the international one happens in October in Israel. I think this will knock my promotion back a year. :( Our spring break trips also bit the dust.

So far I have missed a MLS Soccer game in Atlanta, an MSC cruise to Belize and a Royal Caribbean cruse to Bermuda. Every industry conference I attend has been cancelled for the year.

Missed the Raptors v. Celtics game. That would have been a good one.

Hope we don't lose the season. I have the Raptors to repeat at 60:1 odds. Life.

Best wishes to all to stay well and stay safe.

It sounds unusual, but I was looking forward to the travel as much as the time in Tokyo.

Bob Weir & Wolf Bros (saw the first night, second night was postponed to Oct), Oysterhead (2 shows), Phish summer tour (still TBD) and most importantly Supercross final 7 rounds that I was planning on attending Detroit and Indy.
