Totally worth it. I have a 300 smpc and it compliments my 14060 beautifully. I don’t need any more divers. Don’t like the new 2018 iteration though, bigger, thicker, and no hippogryff on the case back. The pierce brosnan one was the quartz with the waves on the face though wasn’t it?

It's a cool watch, and you can pick an original model up at a very reasonable price if you find one in good shape. The watch Bronson wore had a quartz movement and is reference 2541.80, but most Omega enthusiasts prefer it with a mechanical movement, which is reference 2531.80

There are updated models on Omega's site now.

Brosnan wore the quartz model in Golden Eye but the automatic for the rest of his movies.

Get yourself a 2220.80.
Serial number above 8525xxxx will have the 2500 D movement.
Another way to tell is the font on the date wheel number 1.
You will not, I guarantee, regret it.
Comfortable, classic, wave dial marvel.

Nice. Had the chrono 300 version, but be advised bezel fades easily.

It is one of my favorites. All the way from the quartz on Brosnan to the coaxial on Craig.

I like them pristine.

And those bezels--think I paid like 300 to replace mine years ago. Ouch.
