I am interested in buying a certified pre-owned 1987 36mm stainless Datejust with jubilee band and fluted bezel (all original) from an AD. From the research I’ve done the AD is asking about $1000 too much at $5400. Why do you all think would be a fair price to settle on? Comes with warranty. Thanks.

Site unseen, I'd say your estimate is about right. But the local market plays a role. It won't hurt to make an offer. Walk away if you're not comfortable with the deal.
