I was a pre list for an 11-03 for a year and I was told it is unlikely I will get on the real list anytime soon. The real list requires a 100 percent deposit. I ended up going with the 11-02. The folks i have spoken with at three boutiques (in person) were friendly and emphatic. They want to sell but the stock is limited. I got my 11-02 at a semi-local (90 ish miles away) AD.

In the Patek world I can pretty much get anything I want at the moment, but how do I even start with RM? Can anyone shed some light on the RM game? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the replay! I have no problem with 100% deposit but they never offer that to me even tho I asked them what does it take to get on the waitlist. All they did was start bringing out some grenade look things like RM 58, RM 25, etc everything starts from $580k. They told me to buy them and they would get me the ones I want. I mean I understand that they try to move some stocks but man they were hard to swallow.

Congrats on the 11-02! Hope I can get one for myself soon.

Like i said, I was on the pre list for about 1 year and never made it to the real list requiring the deposit. i was told they had to refund a number of folks.

Finally, I found a dealer that would like to help out and let me play the RM game. Would be like 2 months for most of the models, 11-03 can be had on the 2nd or 3rd order, not the 1st one. It seems like very good offers.

Is this a RM AD? The 11-03 are only offered through the Boutique

So I’m trying to get my foot into the door with RM, and like many other folk am smitten with the 11-03. Given that it has to be a second or third purchase, the boutique has suggested I look at the RM 67-01 or the RM 30 in RG as a first option. Between the two, I like the 30 more and would consider owning it (mostly to open up the opportunity to get what I like). The boutique is fully aware of this and would take either back as a trade towards the next piece when allotted an 11-03.

My question to the seasoned RM collectors - what is a fair market price on either the 67-01 RG or the 30 RG for BNIB? If I buy either and trade it in within 6-12 months when my next piece arrives, am I more likely to be safe with one over the other?

I would seriously look at the 67. It’s a great, versatile watch.

buy from RM Boutique n build your relationship with them ie so they have your record. much easier to get the pieces you desire in the future. from my experience, they will look after you better too both in terms of sales n after sales services. good luck n happy shopping.

Thanks! But they say no stock available. Just looking for an RM30ti. Do you know where we can check retail prices for RM?

your closest rm boutique Taipei HK KL and SG. call them up and ask for the msrp. ask if they have ready stock. be ready to hope on the next flight. as far as i know these rm30 is harder to get. maybe you can consider what they have in stock maybe one of the round case they usually are available. the tonneau shape and even the oblong shape are usually harder to get.

I love this watch and would have considered instead of the 11-02 if my wrist was larger. Congratulations

Put my RM30 Polo Club Saint Tropez on grey rubber. I really like the contrast between the white case, blue crown and grey strap.

Thank you - good to hear you have your eye on this too!

Having worn 035, 029, 011 and 067 - I have to say it is VERY unique and I’m loving it, for me this and the 067ti are the perfect RM duo.

Hi all - at the risk of asking an annoying question, do any of the RM experts here have a sense for how to quantify the impact of the absence of box/papers on the secondary market value of an RM? Put differently, if the seller is trusted, how much of a discount off of prevailing market prices would be reasonable to expect on a watch without box/papers? I have a general sense in the Rolex/Patek world -- but are RM production numbers small enough that the papers become less important because the pieces are easy enough to authenticate?

Thanks for any feedback.

Lack of papers is more of an issue than the box. I guess it depends on the model as to the type of discount being offered. Is it a hard to find piece? Not sure what RM does in terms of being able to supply verification papers. Also how legit is the source. Was it stolen? You are certain it is not a fake?
