Maybe in time, but I think over the next year or two AP will roll out more of these CE 42s that they will need to be sold first.

Ceramic bezel on 42 models in not something new... AP produce and use ceramic bezels on 42mm models for 8 years and they never sold it separately... don't see one reason to start it now...

After going through this thread I had to create a profile to share the 2018 QEii Cup pictures with you guys. Grey Ghost is yet to be found.

Thank you for the responses AK797 and edo.

Fingers crossed it becomes a possibility. I can't pull off the 44s and never loved the Vampire or Elephant. I have the 'Real Batman' and think would look so amazing with a black ceramic bezel.

edo, perhaps it hasn't been possible in the past because they've been LEs? I'm reaching I know :)

Don't wanna be a party breaker but Bumblebee was also regular production model with ceramic bezel 😊

AP changed bezels only on models that have problematic carbon bezels...

I would love to see them use an alternate material for the bezel in the 15400st.

i think that would look awful on a RO. Its a smart, dressy sports watch and nothing like an offshore as far as wearing purpose. I think it would detract from the watch.

Have to agree. No reason to mess with the most iconic watch of the brand. Offshores provide this creative liberty well enough.

I see your points. I was thinking metal more scratch resistant, not necessarily ceramic or a color.

Cool pics, the QE2 2018 reminds me an offshore version of 26331IP

It would be like ceramic-ing the Nautilus, can't see it happening. The ROOs at least are getting the ceramic treatment. Tantalum, as used on some ROCs, might be an option.
