Would you...
...trade a 5711 blue for a Calatrava 570?

I’d vote no way. I’m more of a sports watch kind of guy, but also trade doesn’t make sense value wise. Hodinkee had a yellow gold for sale for $17k. Seems the WG ones are more. Just my opinion though.

To try to help, we need alot more info about the 570 and a little more about the 5711.
As CRDMMW indicated above; typical values range from the teens to over 200k. |

Well, if he can trade it straight up for a 570 worth over 200k, he should do that. I don't think the 5711's end up going that high, but who knows...?

Only for a 5270, wait a few weeks and you'll be half way there.

I should have been more specific. I am not looking at any specific one. A couple are on sale on Chrono24 in the high 30s, which would mean I would have to put in a bit along with the 5711. I am looking at the WG model only.

Interesting! I knew I would get mixed opinions, but never thought it would lean so much in favor of the 5711. Do you see the prices of the Nautilus appreciating further?

I don’t see the 5711 getting any easier to get, which means prices on the second hand market will at the very least stay the same if not go higher. Again I’m really into sports models instead of dress. If it were me, I’d keep the 5711. In the end, I say do what makes you happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
