Watch tools and case recommendations

As I’ll be changing out the bezel inserts and straps on my recently acquired holes-case 16710, I am looking for recommendations on a good basic tool kit. The kits on Amazon have tons of pieces, most of which I’ll never use. Might want to change straps on my other modern GMT/Exp eventually as well, which is more complicated it appears.

Also looking for a good 5-6 watch case.

Thanks!

Watch tools and case recommendations

I would personally pick up specific tools instead of a kit.
Bergeon 6767F
Wiha precision screwdriver
Gel cushion
Bergeon 6744p-s
Bergeon 7825/6825
A roll bag with individual slots to store the tools.

I don’t use a box but I’m sure there are many recommendations out there.
I use a safe that I already have bolted to the floor for storing other things. If someone wants it that badly, everything is insured...

There’s a Rolex facility in Lititz, PA. 2 year program that’s free as long as you work for Rolex. Not sure how true this is as I got this from small talk with my AD...

If you want to adjust timekeeping and have nerves of steel, I recommend:
- Timegrapher
- Microstella Tool
- LG caseback remover
- Dumont #7 tweezers
- All available on Amazon

Use a Bergeon 7825 spring bar tweezers for removing and replacing your straps and bracelets. It'll minimise occurrences of scratches and marks on your watch lugs when dealing with spring bars.
