Yes and it is in SS! I just checked and pricing is on the Cartier website. $23,500 for the skeleton. It’s expensive, but much more affordable compared to the existing platinum version ($60,000).

I’m glad to see the Cintree come back. Definitely want to have a look at one at a Cartier AD.
I know this isn’t one of the new SIHH watches, but I was reading an article on the development of the Cartier Tank recently and ran across the picture below. It looks like one of the best dials on any Tank that I’ve ever seen, but I can’t find any info about it. The fact that it’s on a Cintree makes it even more interesting. If I could find it, this might be the dress watch for me! |

The all gold Santos version, isn't that the one Michael Douglas' character Gordon Gekko wore in the movie "Wall Street"???
Is this version exact to the specifications to the model sold in the 1980's or, is this version upgraded in some ways in terms of style???? |

The Skeleton model is $23,500 is steep. I’d cop it at a nice discount.
The quick strap change system is sweet!

Having seen some more pictures of the new Santos de Cartier I'm starting to warm up for it.

Yes, that is a good looking watch.
At first I didn't like the way the bezel 'flows' to the bracelet, it looked off to me. But it is actually quite elegant |

I really like the Skeleton model, but the 39.8mm square shaped case would look huge on my skinny 6.5” wrist.

The more I think about it, the 39.8 large Santos may not be too big for my wrist. It’s sleaker and slimmer than the Santos 100 or XL model.
That said, I wish the new Santos models had lume on the dial.

The problem with many skeleton watches is that legibility is pretty poor. This one is no exception.
