Great pen. Mont Blanc does it as well and it is one of the few pens that maintain value over the years.

Absolutely they do.

MB 146 or 147 if you want it cartridge only.

I have both and they are superb!

Looks fantastic. Would this be a good starting pen? Haven't delved into pens yet, but would really like to as I write a great deal.

Thanks guys! I opted for the Rollerball Meisterstrück for now, and I'm sure I'll be adding a fountain pen to my collection in the future!

Haha no, I am not a Sesame Street fan. The "pen holder" is actually a toy made by one of my favorite artists, KAWS.

Excellent choice. I have about 18 vintage and more modern Montblancs. About half a dozen limited edition writers series. Start with one and watch them add up.

I have never heard of a Montblanc BMW version or any advertising that MB has done in the past on their writing instruments.

But that's just me....

I just read about it a few weeks ago.

http://www.montblanc.com/en-us/colle...ntain-pen.html

If you look closely the pen cap on the clip has some engraving

Too Funny.

I'm sorry but somehow what is on the clip doesn't even whisper BMW 7 Series.

Heritage Auctions just had a Contemporary Art auction in November with a fair number of KAWS pieces. I really like his style.
