So many people getting triggered here....

1) They said stickered. This clearly implies OEM factory stickers. Valid complaint from OP.
2) Site says no restocking fees, now they want one. Valid complaint from OP.

Thanks for sharing OP, I'm always looking to be more street savvy and stories like this don't hurt to see. Not sure why you're being told "that's what you get".

I bought a new Ranger from them, good price, no warranty card. I would never buy a Rolex from them. Sorry OP, if you were deceived.

sorry about your experience, how is the condition of the watch? is it new?

I'm sure if you show them this post, they will make it right with a full refund and no restock fee.

Thanks for the support Catatafish. I'm just thankful I didn't buy a pricier watch from them. Lesson learned!

I do not know anyone personally at this firm. I did some google sleuthing. I would just call them, explain the issue, explain to them they're getting flamed on TRF, and this forum thread is going to start filtering to the top of their google results in perpetuity, and ask to speak to the OWNER.

I'm going to an AD later today, if they confirm it's unpolished.

If unpolished, it's not big deal. I really just wanted to vent my frustration, as well as warn other TRF members as this forum has been instrumental in my watch addiction.

Your tip off should have been stickers on dial and not stating NIB Rolex AD stickers. JAT

Their pre sale communication would have set alarm bells off.

The salesman deliberately mislead you on the stickers but gave it away in the process. Stickered dial? Really??! Plus buy immediately or regret it forever? That's just taking the piss.

If you have ended up with a pristine, genuine watch, I think you can count yourself lucky. I hope this turns out to be the case and you move on painlessly. And I hope these cowboys get all the heat they deserve.

You are expecting an AD to tell you if it’s unpolished? Your best bet is the opinion of this forum. The knowledge you will find at the ADs will greatly vary. I had a young kid appraise a watch for me for insurance purposes. I absolutely could have passed a fake by him. He was clueless.

I'm sorry but that is utter BS. "Stickered" is implied factory stickers.

Otherwise, this is my "stickered" Explorer 2, complete. Stickers are on the bracelet, crystal and clasp.

What? Just because they aren't CLEAR stickers? That's sticker racism...

Gimme a break.

How did you pay? Is going though your credit card an option and disputing the charge? BBB?

Fake stickered watch

I'm a lawyer. If this happened to me I'd r4turn the watch, pay the restocking fee and then sue them in the equivalent of small claims court for fraud and punitive damages. You probably would not need a lawyer for that. I bet they'd return the restocking fee right away if you did that.

They said fully stickered and they know what that means, but once I read there were stickers on the dial I would have known that whoever wrote that made a typo or was full of shit.

Plus, buying a fully stickered watch with no paperwork should have also be a red flag.

But that's BS for them trying to charge you 10% for their mistake/con job.

And that caseback sticker seems to be factory FWIW.

Paid by wire...ugh.

As for the explorer, how much you want for the beautiful stickered example?

Thanks very much for the warning. I'll avoid this - obviously dishonest - business going forward.

Actually id like to thank you for posting this , because I think its very underhand what they did to get the sale , stickered up means stickered up like they come from out of the shop , we all know this and so do they !
They have pulled a fast one to get a sale and they should be named and shamed,
the watch world is rather small and the posting of their name on the internet will cost them business im sure of that and the restocking fee is also more proof of a rip off company ,

p.s look at the 14 day distance selling act / law it may be a way out of the mess

im also going to warn others on social media about these guys

best regards

OP - best wishes in getting this resolved. Sorry you had to go through this experience. This definitely provided more insight on how those guys operate. IMO, Clearly there’s no reason to work with these guys in the future.

So you’d happily pay $1000 for some stickers
